Egyptian Predator Beetle – (Anthia Sexmaculata)

Size: 4-5 cm

Temperature: 26-28C allowing for a drop during the night.

Humidity: 40-50%

Suitable for beginners, however handling is not advised due to their territorial behaviour and ability to project defensive secretions.

They are communal creatures, can live in groups of 3 or 5. We recommend using a sand substrate and giving plenty of bark and rocks for places to hide.

Idea diet consists of live crickets, mealworms, roaches, locusts etc. They also require drinking water. Great creatures to observe as they are very aggressive and excellent hunters.
