About Us

Our journey began back in early 2021 during lockdown stumbling across an Ant Farm in the local B&M store and then a pair of Ghost Mantis (for the kids) while looking for a hobby during lockdown.

It wasn’t long until the whole family was fascinated and these captivating creatures took over. From their intricate camouflage to their mesmerizing hunting techniques, mantises are truly remarkable insects that never fail to inspire awe with every species bringing something new. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to experience the joy of keeping mantises firsthand, which is why we’ve made it our mission to make these incredible insects accessible to all.

Mantis N.I is run by myself Michael, and my partner Jenny. My parents are involved with the upkeep of the rapidly growing business and our two teenage sons assist with the day to day management.
