Alive on arrival guarantee.

In the uncommon case where any livestock may perish or sustain abnormal injury during delivery it will be replaced free of charge as long as you adhere to our basic terms of service.

Orders containing livestock must have the correct shipping paid for at checkout (Livestock/Special by 1pm)

You must be at home to receive the parcel, failure to accept the delivery will result in the alive on arrival warranty being voided. We receive updates from Royal Mail regarding all delivery failures, if you believe there has been an incorrect attempt to deliver your parcel, it will be your responsibility to follow it up with them.

You must notify us of any problems immediately upon opening the parcel. If you have someone else signing for the parcel, they must be willing to open it and check its wellbeing.

We will ask for a photograph or video to check what may have went wrong.

Should your parcel not arrive next day due to proven delays with Royal Mail we will still honour the alive on arrival guarantee. Our packaging is designed to ensure the welfare of our livestock in the event of such circumstances, but we will again need proof.

General Terms and Conditions for Livestock

  • All sizes are approximate. Sizes may vary slightly. 
  • Sub-Adult and Adult specimens will be listed as such.
  • We do not guarantee specific sexes unless specified in the product title or description, nor will we sex inverts upon ordering. If you are purchasing for trade, please contact us directly.
  • Photos are for example only, we try to cover all bases in our descriptions. We have no control over what colours your invert will be, the colouration is down to numerous biological factors which we have no influence of, many species do vary so it is your responsibility to be aware of this before purchasing. 
  • Prices are for single specimens unless stated otherwise.
  • We reserve the right to refuse any order at our discretion.
  • We reserve the right to change prices without prior notice.
  • Please refer to our shipping policy for information regarding deliveries. We will not refund orders delivered within our stated timeframe if the buyer believes the timeframe to be incorrect. Fraudulent claims made via PayPal or other methods will be taken seriously and may result in you being blacklisted from our website.
  • We are not responsible for any distress, death or injury caused by our products. It is illegal to release any non-native species into the wild, so please think carefully before taking on the responsibility of a pet.
  • We send out our livestock in the best possible condition, we are not responsible for issues occurring later on. Please familiarise yourself with care requirements.
  • Collection may be possible, please contact us to arrange.

Terms and Conditions for This Site

  • www.MantisNI.co.uk cannot accept liability for misuse of your account. Keep your details secure. Refunds will not be given on orders placed in error or by third parties.
  • We reserve the right to refuse any order.
  • This website or any portion of it may not be reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold, resold, visited, or otherwise exploited for commercial purposes without our written consent.
  • We reserve the right to limit access to the site at any time for maintenance or other reasons.
  • Orders are confirmed only when you receive our dispatch confirmation email. Next-day delivery refers to the ‘next day’ after DISPATCH, this is not the day after order.  We are confined to the limitations of Royal Mail.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to register an account. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must place the order on your behalf and accept responsibility for overseeing the care requirements.
  • By creating an account, you accept these terms & conditions. 

Returns Policy

  • Items must be returned before a replacement or refund is issued. 
  • If items are faulty, we will replace them. 
  • If you are unhappy with your livestock order, please contact us to discuss returns and replacements. We advise that if you are unsure about ordering then contact us first and we can discuss what options are best for you. Please do not order if unsure.
  • This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.

Shipping

  • We dispatch Monday – Thursday, during standard Royal Mail operating periods. This is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday, after 1pm. We do not dispatch on Saturday or Sunday, so please do not expect your order to arrive Sunday or Monday. Please remember that ‘Next Day Delivery’ is referring to the ‘Next Day’ as the day after dispatch, not the day after the order is placed. You will receive an email notifying you of when your order has been dispatched.

    Should you require Saturday delivery, this can be arranged but please contact us first as this falls outside the shipping routine we hold with Royal Mail.

    We aim for orders placed before 1pm to be dispatched same-day, however, during Mondays and busier periods this isn’t guaranteed so we would recommend orders are placed before 9am.

    If you require the order to arrive on a specific day/date, we are happy to accommodate. However, we are unable to schedule a delivery that falls outside of Royal Mails delivery parameters.

  • We will not sell or distribute your details to any third party without your permission. 
  • All transactions are processed through third-party payment processor.
