Mantis Beginner Set Up – Complete Bundle
If you don’t know where to start, then here’s your answer!
Giant Asians like to be kept at slightly higher than room temperature. Humidity should be at around 40-55% – use the misting bottle to spray the substrate and enclosure for this. The Coco substrate provided is a good base and holds this humidity well. Tap water can be harmful so its recommended to use distilled/bottled water or tap water treated with HydroPure
Your mantis will enjoy the fruitflies for now, but after a few molts will need to be fed on blue/greenbottles, locusts or dubia roaches. (Please no crickets or honey, it’s a common misconception that they enjoy these, they can be incredibly harmful)
In your bundle will be:
1x Unsexed Giant Asian Nymph – (We do not sex at this stage as it is often inaccurate, if you wish to purchase a more mature mantis, then please check our other products.)
1x Medium Mantis Enclosure – 19x14x14cm, made in-house, fully ventilated with 1mm airholes back and sides. Front opening for easy access and removeable meshed top plate on the lid.
1x Substrate pack – A layer of substrate in the enclosure helps holds the humidity and gives a natural look.
1x Misting Bottle – Essential for maintaining humity
1x Fruitfly Vial – These will feed your mantis up to the next molt!
1x Leaf decor – designs may vary

This method MUST be used if your order contains any livestock.
Special Delivery by 1pm will arrive by 1pm the day after we dispatch your order. You will receive an email notifying you of when your order has been dispatched.
Please note: Though we do aim to dispatch all orders placed before 1pm the same-day, delays can occur so we would advise all orders are placed as early as possible. Orders are dispatched Monday-Thursday, so deliveries occur Tuesday-Friday unless otherwise arranged. We do not have any influence over Royal Mails operating hours.
